5th Cowichan International Aboriginal Film & Art Festival

Upcoming Dates: Thursday, April 16 - Sunday, April 19, 2009

Annual event celebration of indigenous film and art, featuring award winning films from leading international indigenous and Metis filmmakers. This event is presented by the Cowichan Intercultural Festival of Film & Arts Society with the generous support of Cowichan Tribes.

This festival features a Coast Salish gala reception, performers, artists\' gallery, indie film screenings, youth FX film screenings, and film workshops. Many of the festival events take place on the traditional lands of the Cowichan people, in the Cowichan Region of southern Vancouver Island.
